Unconditional love. A love that stems from the ability of the initiate to see the divine spark in all life.

Mission statement

Agape Hope Centre is a community-based organization which was founded in 2003 by Olivier Chiraba and Margaret Kimaiyo. The project was founded as an initiative to assist orphans and vulnerable children (OVC's) in the community—especially those affected by HIV/AIDS. The center is meant to provide them with an environment in which they may grow to their full potential and become responsible adults who can support themselves and their families, all the while promoting Christian values.

Agape Hope Center is working every day to care for every child within reach in a comprehensive manner. This refers to the children's physical health, emotional health and spiritual health. Currently, the center runs a number of programs. These are: a primary school, a feeding program for students on weekdays and other community members on the weekends, a small orphanage, a support group for people living with HIV/AIDS and a sponsorship program for the neediest children at the center. Through these initiatives, our aim is to extend a helping hand to youth, as well as men and women in the community and to empower them to be self-sufficient throughout their God-given lives, so that future generations may one day benefit.

Currently, Agape Hope Center has no steady donors and relies on volunteers and other benefactors to meet the needs of the disadvantaged children and struggling members of the community who walk through its doors.

The center is located in the Waithaka location of Dagoretti Division, within Nairobi province of Kenya . It is 100 meters from the Dagoretti District offices.
